The ILX is Acura's smallest sedan. Similar in size to the Honda Civic which it is based on, the Acura ILX features a handsome exterior, upscale interior and a compliant ride. The front-wheel-drive Acura ILX comes powered by a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with 201 hp mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Changes for 2016
The Acura ILX receives a mild exterior and interior makeover with revised front and rear lights, a new grille and improved sound insulation for 2016. The former 2.0-liter 4-cylinder is discontinued, while the 2.4-liter is replaced by a revised version with the same output, but more torque. It is now mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The Acura ILX Sedan comes standard with dual-zone automatic air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and sunroof, 8-way power heated driver bucket seat, 4-way heated passenger bucket seat, folding bench rear seat, tilting and telescoping steering-wheel, AM/FM radio with CD-player, internet access, wireless connectivity, ABS, stability control, front airbags, front side airbags, side-curtain airbags, tire-pressure monitor and parking assist.
