The Acura MDX is a sporty luxury SUV that is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 with 290 hp that is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and optionally drives all wheels. Despite offering three rows of seating for up to seven passengers, the MDX is one of the smallest entries in its class and offers nimble and sporty handling.
Changes for 2016
The Acura MDX receives a mild exterior refresh for 2017. In addition, a hybrid version powered by a 321 hp V6 powertrain mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission joins the lineup.
