Changes for 2012
For 2012, the Chevrolet Malibu is available in additional trim levels (3LT and 2LZ) and adds several new option packages. The LS Uplevel Package includes body-side molding, Bluetooth phone connectivity, floor mats, steering-wheel audio controls and a compact spare tire. The Sunroof and Convenience Package for the 1LT trim adds a power tilt/sliding sunroof, power 6-way driver's seat, remote start, Bluetooth phone connectivity and 110V outlet, while the Sunroof Package for 2LT includes the sunroof, floor mats and trunk mat.

The Chevrolet Malibu LS Sedan comes standard with air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, cloth seat-upholstery, 6-way driver bucket seat, 4-way passenger bucket seat, split-folding bench rear seat, tilting and telescoping steering-wheel, AM/FM/Satellite radio with CD-player, internet access, ABS, stability control, front airbags, front side airbags, side-curtain airbags, tire-pressure monitor and emergency communication system.
Features available on other trims include automatic air conditioning, power sunroof, leather seat-upholstery, power driver-seat adjustments, heated front seats and wireless connectivity.
