The Chevrolet SS is a large sedan with a strong bias on performance. Powered by a 6.2-liter V8 donated by the latest Corvette, the SS sends 415 hp to its rear-wheels via 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Excellent Brembo brakes, a sports tuned suspension, and 19-inch performance tires complement the SS's performance capabilities. Inside, five are seated in comfort in a well-equipped and roomy cabin.
Changes for 2015
The Chevy SS benefits from various detail enhancements for 2015 that improve its performance capabilities even further. Magnetic Ride Control is now standard, as are Brembo rear brakes that join the front units, while a six-speed manual transmission is now available as an option. In addition, OnStar 4G LTE is now standard and features a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.
