The Chevrolet Tahoe is a tough-looking full-size SUV with seating for up to nine in a well-built cabin. Thanks to a fairly fuel-efficient 5.3-liter V8 with 355 hp mated to a 6-speed automatic, the Tahoe combines adequate power and excellent towing capability of up to 8,600 lbs. with safe handling and a composed ride. Four-wheel-drive is an option.
Changes for 2017
The 2017 Chevy Tahoe replaces the former LTZ with the Premier trim, which gets perforated, leather-trimmed heated and vented driver and passenger seats as standard. A Teen Driver restriction is now standard, as are active aero shutters in front and enhancements to Chevrolet's MyLink suite. In addition, rear seat entertainment system upgrades are available that include HDMI/MHL connector and additional USB port, as well as digital headphones and device projection.

The Chevrolet Tahoe LS comes standard with front dual-zone automatic air conditioning, rear air-conditioning, cruise control, power windows, cloth seat-upholstery, 8-way power front bucket seats, split-folding bench rear seat, split-folding third-row bench seat, tilting steering-wheel, AM/FM/HD/Satellite radio with CD-player, internet access, wireless connectivity, ABS, stability control, front airbags, front side airbags, side-curtain airbags, tire-pressure monitor, emergency communication system, auto-leveling suspension, parking assist and trailering hitch.
