The Dodge Durango is a brash looking full-size SUV seating up to seven in a pleasantly styled and spacious cabin. Powered by a choice of V6 and V8 engines deploying up to 360 hp to the rear-wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Durango combines sophisticated handling and a comfortable ride with up to 7,400 lbs. of towing capacity and optional all-wheel-drive.
Changes for 2016
The Dodge Durango comes with new wheel designs for 2016. Engine stop-start technology is now standard on V6 models, while the V8 is dropped from Limited trims. On vehicles equipped with the 8.4-inch touchscreen, Uconnect updates to a Drag and Drop menu bar, Siri Eyes Free, Do Not Disturb, and SiriusXM Tune Start. Brass Monkey Appearance Package and an enhanced Premium Group are now available on Limited models, as is an Anodized Platinum Appearance Package on Citadel models. The latter now also features a standard monochromatic exterior appearance.
The 2016 Dodge Durango SUV is available in 8 trim levels.
The Dodge Durango SXT comes standard with front dual-zone automatic air conditioning, rear air-conditioning, cruise control, power windows, cloth seat-upholstery, 4-way front bucket seats, split-folding bench rear seat, split-folding third-row bench seat, tilting and telescoping steering-wheel, AM/FM radio, wireless connectivity, ABS, stability control, front airbags, front side airbags, side-curtain airbags, knee airbag, tire-pressure monitor, emergency communication system, auto-leveling suspension and parking assist.
Features available on other trims include navigation system, power sunroof, leather seat-upholstery, power front seat adjustments, heated front seats, ventilated front seats, memory driver seat, heated rear-seat, heated steering-wheel, HD-radio and satellite-radio.
