The GMC Acadia is a crossover SUV combining a spacious and versatile cabin for up to eight people with a smooth ride and responsive handling. Powered by a 3.6-liter V6 with 288 hp mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, the Acadia offers decent fuel-economy and optional all-wheel-drive across the lineup.
Changes for 2014
The GMC Acadia receives only minor changes for 2014. Two USB ports are integrated into the rear center console, while Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning are now standard on Denali and available on SLT-1 and SLT-2 trims.
The 2014 GMC Acadia SUV is available in 10 trim levels.
The GMC Acadia SLE-1 comes standard with front and rear air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, cloth seat-upholstery, 6-way driver bucket seat, 4-way passenger bucket seat, split-folding bench rear seat, split-folding third-row bench seat, tilting and telescoping steering-wheel, AM/FM/HD/Satellite radio with CD-player, internet access, wireless connectivity, ABS, stability control, front airbags, front side airbags, side-curtain airbags, tire-pressure monitor, emergency communication system and parking assist.
Features available on other trims include dual-zone automatic air conditioning, head-up display, power sunroof, leather seat-upholstery, power front seat adjustments, heated front seats, ventilated front seats, memory driver seat, bucket rear seats, folding rear-seat, lane-departure warning and trailering hitch.
