Powered by a choice of efficient four- and six-cylinder engines with up to 264 hp mated to 6-speed automatic transmissions, the front-wheel-drive Terrain combines car-like handling with a comfortable ride and, if equipped with the optional all-wheel-drive, good all-wheather capability.
Changes for 2011
The GMC Terrain upgrades to OnStar 9.0 with improved speech recognition technology for 2011. The V6 is now E85-capable.

The GMC Terrain SLE-1 comes standard with air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, cloth seat-upholstery, 6-way driver bucket seat, 4-way passenger bucket seat, split-folding bench rear seat, tilting and telescoping steering-wheel, AM/FM/Satellite radio with CD-player, internet access, ABS, stability control, front airbags, front side airbags, side-curtain airbags, tire-pressure monitor, emergency communication system and parking assist.
Features available on other trims include automatic air conditioning, power sunroof, leather seat-upholstery, power driver-seat adjustments, heated front seats, memory driver seat and wireless connectivity.
