The GMC Terrain is a muscular-looking mid-size SUV that seats five in a quiet and spacious cabin. Powered by a choice of efficient four- and six-cylinder engines with up to 301 hp mated to 6-speed automatic transmissions, the front-wheel-drive Terrain combines car-like handling with a comfortable ride and, if equipped with the optional all-wheel-drive, good all-wheather capability. The GMC Terrain receives a stronger and larger 3.6-liter V6 with 301 hp for 2013. In addition, a new Denali trim marks the new top of the lineup with unique styling and interior appointments including 8-way power driver and passenger seats and a standard sunroof, as well as GM's IntelliLink infotainment system, which is also available as an option on other trims. An optional Safety Package includes Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning and Rear Park Assist. The 2013 GMC Terrain SUV is available in 10 trim levels. The GMC Terrain SLE-1 comes standard with air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, cloth seat-upholstery, 6-way driver bucket seat, 4-way passenger bucket seat, split-folding bench rear seat, tilting and telescoping steering-wheel, AM/FM/Satellite radio with CD-player, internet access, wireless connectivity, ABS, stability control, front airbags, front side airbags, side-curtain airbags, tire-pressure monitor, emergency communication system and parking assist. Features available on other trims include automatic air conditioning, power sunroof, leather seat-upholstery, power front seat adjustments, heated front seats, memory driver seat and lane-departure warning.
