The GMC Terrain is a muscular-looking mid-size SUV that seats five in a quiet and spacious cabin. Powered by a choice of efficient four- and six-cylinder engines with up to 301 hp mated to 6-speed automatic transmissions, the front-wheel-drive Terrain combines car-like handling with a comfortable ride and, if equipped with the optional all-wheel-drive, good all-wheather capability.
Changes for 2016
The GMC Terrain receives a mild exterior refresh for 2016 that includes revised front and rear fascias, as well as rims, while LED daytime running lamps are now standard on uplevel models. Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are available on SLE and SLT trims.
The 2016 GMC Terrain SUV is available in 9 trim levels.
The GMC Terrain SL comes standard with air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, cloth seat-upholstery, 6-way driver bucket seat, 4-way passenger bucket seat, split-folding bench rear seat, tilting and telescoping steering-wheel, AM/FM radio, internet access, wireless connectivity, ABS, stability control, front airbags, front side airbags, side-curtain airbags, tire-pressure monitor, emergency communication system and parking assist.
Features available on other trims include automatic air conditioning, power sunroof, leather seat-upholstery, power front seat adjustments, heated front seats, memory driver seat, satellite-radio and lane-departure warning.
