The Jeep Grand Cherokee is an icon among mid-size SUV's. In its latest iteration, it combines the trademark rugged looks and excellent off-road capability courtesy of a sophisticated optional four-wheel-drive system with refined on-road handling. Engine choices ranging from an adequate 3.6-liter V6 with 290 hp to an outstanding 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 470 hp, mated to either 5-speed or 6-speed automatic transmissions, allow for a towing capacity of up to 7,400 lbs. Inside, the Grand Cherokee seats five in a well-built and spacious cabin.
