Changes for 2018
The Mazda CX-5 comes standard with a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, as well as a leather-wrapped steering-wheel and shift knob for 2018. In addition, the 2.5-liter 4-cylinder now features cylinder-deactivation for improved fuel-economy. Touring models upgrade to 19-inch alloy wheels, automatic on/off headlights and rain-sensing windshield wipers, while the i-ACTIVSENSE suite with High Beam Control, Lane Departure Warning, Lane-Keep Assist, and adaptive cruise control is now standard, as well. Grand Touring models also get 2-position memory driver's seat and a 6-way power adjustable passenger seat.

The Mazda CX-5 Sport comes standard with air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, cloth seat-upholstery, 6-way driver bucket seat, 4-way passenger bucket seat, folding bench rear seat, tilting and telescoping steering-wheel, AM/FM/HD radio, internet access, wireless connectivity, ABS, stability control, front airbags, front side airbags, side-curtain airbags, tire-pressure monitor, emergency communication system and parking assist.
Features available on other trims include dual-zone automatic air conditioning, adaptive cruise control, head-up display, navigation system, power sunroof, leather seat-upholstery, power front seat adjustments, heated front seats, memory driver seat, satellite-radio, adaptive headlights and lane-departure warning.
