Changes for 2017
The Nissan Altima comes standard with Forward Emergency Braking and Predictive Forward Collision Warning for 2017. The former SR trim, just introduced in 2016, is discontinued.

The Nissan Altima Sedan 2.5 S comes standard with air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, cloth seat-upholstery, 6-way driver bucket seat, 4-way passenger bucket seat, split-folding bench rear seat, tilting and telescoping steering-wheel, AM/FM radio with CD-player, wireless connectivity, ABS, stability control, front airbags, front side airbags, side-curtain airbags, tire-pressure monitor and parking assist.
Features available on other trims include dual-zone automatic air conditioning, navigation system, power sunroof, leather seat-upholstery, power front seat adjustments, heated front seats, heated steering-wheel, satellite-radio and internet access.
