Larger, more powerful, and with a modern exterior and interior, the Tahoe enters the 2007 model-year totally redesigned. The all-new 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe offers seating for at least five passengers, but can host up to nine, if ordered with the optional third-row bench seats. Its standard 5.3l V8 boasts 320hp and displacement-on-demand technology, which deactivates half the cylinders under normal driving conditions, thus improving fuel-economy to over 20mpg on the highway.
Standard features on the base Tahoe "LS" include dual-zone air-conditioning, 8-way power driver's seat with manual recline, cruise control, OnStar, and a leather steering wheel. On the safety side ABS, electronic stability system, front airbags, and a tire-pressure monitoring system come factory equipped. Upgrading to "LT" and "LTZ"-models adds more features, such as leather seat-upholstery, bucket seats, a Bose audio-system with nine speakers, auto-locking rear differential, rear air-suspension, XM satellite radio, remote vehicle starter system, and larger wheels.
The 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Full-Size SUV compares to the Dodge Durango, Ford Expedition, GMC Yukon, Jeep Commander, Nissan Armada, and Toyota Sequoia.
