For 2006, all Chevrolet TrailBlazers come standard-equipped with OnStar and StabiliTrak. Regular wheelbase models are now available with Chevy's displacement-on-demand enhanced 5.3l V8, which was previously offered for EXT-models only. LT-models get revised front and rear fascias and other exterior changes to set them apart from the lesser LS-trim. In addition, two new exterior colors, Bordeaux Red and Red Jewel Tintcoat, find their way into the line-up.
Featuring the 6.0l V8 known from the 'Vette, an SS option-package now equips the regular wheelbase Chevrolet TrailBlazer with unique exterior and interior appointments, 20-inch wheels, and a sport-tuned suspension.
The 2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer Mid-Size SUV compares to the Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Mitsubishi Endeavor, Nissan Murano, and Toyota 4Runner.
