The 2005 model year adds the Hummer H2 SUT to the previously SUV-only line-up. Wheat-color heated front and rear leather-seats are now standard on all versions, as is a swing-gate mounted spare tire. On the optional side, a host of chromed accessories like alloy wheels, side steps, and brush guard is now available.

In addition, a limited edition of the SUT in Victory Red, featuring a DVD Navigation system; chrome exterior door handles, mirror caps and license plate brow; brushed-aluminum double-crossbar roof rack; and a chrome brush guard, is available for a premium of $2,765 over the standard model.

Prices for the Hummer H2 SUV start at $52,430. The SUT is available from $52,485.

The 2005 Hummer H2 Full-Size Luxury SUV compares to the Cadillac Escalade, Infiniti QX56, Land Rover Range Rover, Lexus LX470, and Lincoln Navigator, while the SUT competes with the Chevrolet Avalanche, Cadillac Escalade EXT, and Ford Explorer Sport Trac in the Sport Utility Truck segment.

All-new for 2003, the H2 features the Hummer-typical off-road capability and angular styling, while treating its occupants to a luxurious and comfortable interior. Powered by a 6.0l V8 with 315hp, the Hummer H2 provides the best off-road ability of any production SUV, yet at the cost of high fuel-consumption.

Standard features include 8-way power front bucket seats with lumbar support; power, heated, electrically folding door mirrors; dual-zone automatic air conditioning with separate passenger and rear controls; a Vehicle Information System; and one-year subscription to OnStar, GM's emergency communication and tracking system. The H2's off-road capability can be enhanced even further with the optional Adventure package, while the Lux package adds heated leather seats, an enhanced stereo, and other amenities.
