2004 Model Overview::
Powered by a 316hp 6.0l V-8, the H2 combines Hummer's trademark off-road capability and angular design with everyday comfort. Standard features on the Hummer H2 include 8-way power front bucket seats with lumbar support; power, heated, electrically folding door mirrors; dual-zone automatic air conditioning with separate passenger and rear controls; underbody protection; a Vehicle Information System; and one-year subscription to OnStar. Thanks to its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system, the Hummer H2 offers the best off-road ability of all current production SUVs.
Introduced for the 2003 model year, the Hummer H2 carries over to 2004 almost unchanged. Several new packages enhance the H2's interior and exterior. The "Trailering Convenience Package" ($150) features a front hitch extension, front and rear hitch covers, and 7- to 4-pin connector, while the "Uplevel Chrome Appearance Package" ($550) adds chrome appliqués in various places. Also new is an optional Delphi integrated navigation radio with full map navigation and a CD-ROM/audio player.
The "Victory Red Limited Edition Package" ($6,510) upgrades Lux-Package-equipped models with a power sunroof, first-aid kit, tool kit with portable lamp, wrap-around brush guard, chrome fuel-filler door, taillight protection, chrome side steps, self-leveling rear air suspension, chrome alloy wheels, and a Hummer mountain bicycle.
