Powered by a 3.5-liter Inline-5 with 220hp, the all-new 2006 Hummer H3 combines the military-inspired design cues and amazing off-road capabilities of its larger relatives with the usability and affordability of the Mid-Size SUV class.
The base Hummer H3 offers space for five people and comes standard with cloth seat-upholstery, power windows and locks, remote keyless entry, an audio system with a CD player, cruise control, air conditioning, an electronic rearview mirror with temperature and compass readings, and a year's subscription of the OnStar telematics system, 265/75R16 all-terrain tires, daytime running lights, and fog lights. Several optional packages and features enhance its off-road ability or add luxurious amenities such as leather-seats and a premium sound-system.
Prices for the 2006 Hummer H3 start at $29,500 for the manual version. An automatic is available from $31,195.
The 2006 Hummer H3 Mid-Size SUV compares to the Chevrolet TrailBlazer, Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Nissan Murano, and Toyota 4Runner.
