All new for 2006, the Infiniti M is a modern, sophisticated, and stylish luxury sports sedan that offers top-of-its-class performance and handling. The 2006 Infiniti M fits between the G35 and Q45 within the Infiniti line-up. Powered by a 3.5l V6 in addition to the previous 4.5l V8, the aggressively styled Infiniti M is available with rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive (M35x).

All Infiniti M models come equipped with an advanced 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and downshift rev matching. Other standard features include leather-appointed seats, Intelligent Key with push button ignition, Infiniti Voice Recognition, Bluetooth wireless technology, in-dash 6-disc changer with MP3 playback capability, improved Infiniti Vehicle Information System with 7-inch LCD screen, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), 10-way power driver’s seat, power-sliding sunroof, and Advanced Air Bag System (AABS).

Prices for the base Infiniti M35 start at $39,900, while the top-of-the-line Infiniti M45 Sport retails for $49,550.

For 2004, the Infiniti M45 gets two new exterior colors: Desert Platinum and Twilight Blue, and an upgraded interior with standard driver's seat two-position memory system, electrochromic auto-dimming rearview mirror, HomeLink® Universal Transceiver, and electronic compass (previously available as part of the Comfort and Convenience Package). Also new is a Navigation / Voice Recognition Package which features Infiniti’s DVD Navigation system and voice recognition system.
