Engine(s): 2.4l 4-cyl. (160hp) Rating:

All-new for 2005, the Scion tC is Toyota's attempt to lure America's Generation Y buyers interested in hot-looking, hot-performing small cars away from the popular Honda Civic. Powered by a 2.4l Inline-4 with 160hp, the Scion tC is available as only a single, very well equipped model. Standard features include ABS and electronic brake force distribution, air conditioning, front bucket seats and reclining rear seats, a 160-watt Pioneer stereo system, and a panorama sunroof.

The only two factory options are an automatic transmission and side and roof airbags. But in keeping with the performance-savvy clientele, individualist buyers can order over 40 freestanding options from TRD or other specialty manufacturers directly at their Scion dealerships.

Prices for the only available model started at $15,950 in 2005. For an estimation of this car's value today, please refer to our Used Car Valuator.
