The Toyota RAV4 is a compact SUV that compares to mid-size SUV's in size and versatility. Powered by either a 179 hp 4-cylinder mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission or a strong and relatively frugal V6 with 269 hp that is mated to a 5-speed automatic, the RAV4 combines a smooth and composed ride with a towing capacity of up to 3,500 lbs. Inside, the RAV4 seats up to seven with the optional third row in a large and commodius cabin with abundant storage and cargo space. All-wheel-drive is an option. Changes for 2010
The Toyota RAV4 carries over to 2010 largely unchanged, except for some feature repackaging. The 2010 Toyota RAV4 SUV is available in 12 trim levels. The Toyota RAV4 comes standard with air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, cloth seat-upholstery, 6-way driver bucket seat, 4-way passenger bucket seat, split-folding bench rear seat, tilting and telescoping steering-wheel, AM/FM radio with CD-player, ABS, stability control, front airbags, front side airbags, side-curtain airbags and tire-pressure monitor. Features available on other trims include dual-zone automatic air conditioning, six-disc changer and satellite-radio.
