The Toyota RAV4 is a compact SUV that compares to mid-size SUV's in size and versatility. Powered by either a 179 hp 4-cylinder mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission or a strong and relatively frugal V6 with 269 hp that is mated to a 5-speed automatic, the RAV4 combines a smooth and composed ride with a towing capacity of up to 3,500 lbs. Inside, the RAV4 seats up to seven with the optional third row in a large and commodius cabin with abundant storage and cargo space. All-wheel-drive is an option.
