The Volkswagen Passat is a mid-size sedan that benefits from a roomy interior and a broad choice of engines. The Passat comes well-equipped and well-built, with an upmarket interior and a composed ride. Power comes from a choice of two engines driving the front wheels: a 1.8-liter inline-4 turbo with 170 hp and a 3.6-liter V6 with 280 hp, mated to 6-speed automatic and dual-clutch transmissions.
