Powered by a fine 2-liter turbo 4-cylinder mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, the Tiguan combines a smooth ride with sporty handling and optional all-wheel-drive. Cargo space in the Tiguan is confined, however, whereas safety equipment fairly comprehensive.
