The Volkswagen Touareg is a handsome luxury SUV with seating for five. Powered by a choice of V6 gas, hybrid and frugal turbo-diesel engines sending between 225 and 380 hp to all wheels, the Touareg is rated to tow up to 7,716 lbs and combines true off-road capability with excellent on-road handling and a composed ride. Changes to the VW Touareg lineup for 2012 are limited to new option packages and additional features.
