The Nissan Pathfinder is a good-looking mid-size SUV that hosts seven with limited third row seating room in a pleasant, versatile and spacious cabin. The sole available 3.5-liter V6 provides swift acceleration and decent gas mileage, as well as a tow rating of 6,000 lbs. thanks to 284 hp distributed to either the front or all wheels through a continously variable transmission. This fourth generation of the Pathfinder has traded the former off-road capability for better on road comfort, but still lacks sportiness.

The Nissan Pathfinder adds Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and a Rear Door Alert system as standard for 2018. The Midnight Edition package, which was previously available on the Platinum trim, is now available on SL trims.
